Google Sign-In
Frank and Beans uses Google Sign-In to let customers sign in or create a store account on frankandbeans.com.au and frankandbeans.co.nz without creating a separate password for the store.
What the app does
The Google Sign-In client is used only for customer account authentication. When a customer chooses Google at sign-in, Google confirms the customer identity and returns the basic profile information needed to create or link the Frank and Beans customer account.
Information used
- Google account email address
- Basic profile name, where Google provides it
- A Google account identifier used to link the sign-in to the store account
Frank and Beans does not use this Google Sign-In app to access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, payment details or other sensitive Google account data.
How the information is used
- To sign customers in to their Frank and Beans account
- To create or link a customer account when the customer chooses Google Sign-In
- To support account, order, return and checkout services requested by the customer
- To help protect customer accounts and detect misuse of the sign-in feature
